Minding the Child’s Mind
Parental reflective functioning as a buffer for child distress in displaced families at war zones

This study explores how parental reflective functioning (PRF) supports young children in families affected by displacement and war. The results highlight PRF as a central protective factor and point to the importance of strengthening parent–child connection as a foundation for resilience.
